Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York New York U.S.A. is an American actress known for portraying powerful, but fragile characters. Linney grew up in an actor's family, since her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. She studied Arts Theatre School at Moscow before graduating with an M.F.A. from Juilliard School. in New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began in her Broadway career. Her work was highly praised, including her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
