Vinita Nair

Nair joined ABC News in July 2004 and has been a reporter on a range of subjects, including Jon Benet Ramsey's investigation, Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings close to Bailey, Colorado. Nair was recruited at the request of ABC News in December 2007 as a anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now. In her capacity as a correspondent, she offered live news and briefings to ABC's network. Nair also co-anchored World News Now on ABC since September 17 the 17th of September, 2008. through February 18, 2011 and America This Morning. On both shows Nair was initially paired together with Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair announced to the viewers of World News Now that she did not plan to appear in World News Now after Friday 18th of February 2011. Her last day at ABC News would be Friday the 18th of February. Former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her immediate successor. The edition on February 18, World News Now paid tribute to Nair throughout its three segments.
