After finishing his school years, Lars joined the military in which he completed his basic military service for nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) an infantry regiment belonging to the Danish army. The military service was not the best choice and he began looking for something else after having completed it , and decided to study biology. Anette returned from a juggler's class and showed Lars the amount she could juggle in three days, even though the juggler was already busy for half of a year. Lars was pleased about it and wanted to learn as well. So, he dropped out college and attended the school of jugglers. He also was taught fire breathing and the art of juggling. Then he went on tour with two friends as traveling artists throughout Europe and performed in cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He met a children's circus after a few years, and he learned both street theatre and children's theater as and pantomime.
